Techniques on Silk with Olivia Batchelder
September
29 & 30 9:00am to 4:00pm
This is a painting class. You will learn how to treat our silk canvas
so the dyes will not flow and the silk becomes more like a piece of
fine watercolor paper. Techniques in stretching the silk on a frame,
sizing methods, and using chemical additives for special effects will
be taught. Come will a drawing of a design you would like to make. You
will go home with a portfolio of technique samples and a completed dye
