Welcome to the 42nd Annual
Summer Show at the Sawdust Art Festival. Come experience the creative
wonders of nearly 200 Laguna Beach artists in our enchanting outdoor
canyon paradise adorned with waterfalls, eucalyptus trees, and the best
hand crafted art in California. Our Summer of Enchantment is sure to
inspire your inner artist!
Art enthusiasts, collectors,
and novice artists have come to the Sawdust since our beginning in 1966
for our mix of fine art and craft. Media include hand blown and fused
glass, painting, jewelry, surf art, ceramics, textile, wood and metal
sculpture, scrimshaw, photography, and so much more. And, our artists
are eager to share their creative process with you so please, feel free
to ask questions.
In keeping with our mission,
“to educate the public about the art created in Laguna Beach,”
the Sawdust Art Festival provides a variety of art
and craft projects for all ages at our Children’s
Art Spot, Ceramics Booth, Sawdust Studio, and our world-class Glass
Blowing Booth. We also offer Summer Evening
Art Classes at 7 p.m. Sunday-Thursdays. We hope you’ll
try your hand at creating your own masterpiece.
